About Us

We are on mission for great changes

Send A Child 2 School Africa Initiative is a registered non-profit organization committed to restoring hope to children by removing the financial barriers that keep them out of school. For over a decade, we’ve quietly stood in the gap, paying school fees, buying books, and ensuring children don't miss out on their right to learn, grow, and dream.

Born from the founder’s (Lugard Agbomoagan) personal story of being lifted by a scholarship, our work is fuelled by a single conviction: our children should not be denied an education just because they can not afford it. Motivated by this transformative experience, Mr. Agbomoagan was inspired to extend similar opportunities to others, with a vision to ensure that no child in Africa is denied access to education due to financial constraints.

Our Founder’s Story

Our journey began with one man’s story. Years ago, Mr. Lugard Agbomoagan received a life-changing scholarship through the generosity of a renowned Nigerian lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun and a support from the Jehova Nissi African Church(Cathedral – as it then was), Ilesa, Osun State for the payment of the Nigerian Law School fees(2013). That support planted a seed.

Years later, Mr. Agbomoagan decided to pay it forward. For over 10 years, he personally funded children’s education across different states in Nigeria. This started from Primary School Education and progressed to Post-Graduate(Nigerian Law Schools). In 2024, his passion was formalised into what is now Send A Child 2 School Africa Initiative—a legacy of grace, hope, and impact.

Joseph & Oreoluwa Agbomoagan Foundation

(Our Mother-Foundation)

In addition to promoting educational access, the Initiative also recognizes the broader socio-economic barriers that hinder learning and implements feeding programs for both children and the elderly. These initiatives aim to alleviate the burden on struggling families, enabling them to better support the educational and social development of their children, thereby contributing to a more equitable and thriving society.

The Initiative carries out the feeding program through its mother-Foundation- Joseph & Oreoluwa Agbomoagan Foundation, founded in honor of the Founder’s late parents.

We have seen the pain in the eyes of children forced to drop out of school. On  the other side, we have also seen the joy that lights up a child’s face when they receive their school uniform or sit for their exams for the first time. That joy is what keeps us going.

What We Do

We focus on providing direct and meaningful support in the following areas:

  • School Fees Support: For children at risk of dropping out at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
  • Exam Sponsorships: Covering JAMB, WAEC, and NECO registration fees for students who would otherwise miss out.
  • Law School Sponsorship: Offering scholarships and maintenance stipends students at the Law School
  • Tertiary Institutions Scholarship
  • Infrastructure Support: Renovation projects and solar power installations in schools to enhance learning environments.
  • Provision of merit awards in Tertiary Institutions
  • Feeding Programmes: Providing meals to vulnerable children and the elderly during festive seasons.
